Here are all of the robots that we have created!

2019

Laika

Meet our 2019 robot, Laika.  Laika was named after the space dog who was one of the first animals in space.

2018

Clyde

Clyde was our 2018 robot for the Power Up! challenge. The robot was named after a Pac-Man ghost.

2017

 MO

MO is our robot for the 2017 game, FIRST Steamworks.  MO is short for Michelle Obama.

 

2016

Byte

 

Byte was the 2016 robot for the Stronghold game.  

2015

Ada

Ada was our 2015 robot for the game Recycle Rush! She used 6″ mecanum wheels and had several mechanisms (Doors, Fingers, Collectors, Shack and forklift) to stack totes within her and set them on the scoring platform!  

2014

Atlas

Atlas

Atlas was our 2014 robot. He could pick up balls off of the floor and score in the low goal accurately and quickly. He was also great at assisting.

2013

E.V.E 

E.V.E

E.V.E was a robot that could shoot Frisbees and hang on the pyramid. It used a pneumatic system and target tracking as well. E.V.E was named after Eve, a character in Wall-E.

2012

Watson

 

Watson could shoot basketballs and balance on bridges! It had a turret with a tracking system, so we could shoot basketballs from anywhere on the field. Waston was named after the character in Sherlock Holmes, and the IBM Jeopardy robot.

 

2011

Crush and Squirt

CrushCrush was a robot that could hang inner tubes on the second rack, and had a minibot named Squirt! Crush and Squirt were named after their respective characters in Finding Nemo!
